About the job:
Our consulting and advisory services provide a trusted resource and independent support to our clients to help address the challenges facing their business both today and tomorrow. Our advisors provide financial, operational, and strategic solutions that deliver a tailored service to help our clients maximize financial and operational performance. Our professionals combine technical expertise with a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to help clients achieve both immediate and long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members through coaching, training, performance management, and career development initiatives to ensure high-quality delivery of advisory services. Work with team to develop materials and appropriate business solutions for clients, including building financial reporting packages and presentations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, providing strategic guidance on financial, operational, and organizational initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Arrange, coordinate and lead routinely scheduled conference calls with existing clients.
- Lead complex client engagements involving cross-functional teams, competing priorities, and evolving business needs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies and solutions for clients. Develop accounting strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with client projects. Development, design, and implementation of internal controls. Internal control testing, develop internal audit plans, provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis
- Business profitability analysis and enhancement, Cash flow management, optimization and forecasting scenarios, Transaction support including due diligence, Middle and back office operational and accounting support
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to clients and senior management.
- Drive business development initiatives including networking, proposal development, client presentations, and expansion of existing client relationships., contributing to the growth of the advisory practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or a related discipline. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are often preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in advisory services, consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects. Public accounting experience a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting processes, internal controls, and operational best practices.
- Strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, team-oriented mindset, and a client-focused approach. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task. Aptitude and desire to learn and think outside the box
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
