Team

Brian Walls, Managing Partner

Brian Walls is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Bridge Alternatives. He serves on all the Bridge Alternatives Index Committees, was key to the development of the Bridge Alternatives Institutional Futures Index as well as the creation and content of the time Summit.

A founder of the Alternative Investments Group at Dean Witter, Brian lead the team which continued as an industry innovator for 25 years into Carr Futures, Calyon Financial, Newedge and then Societe Generale, eventually evolving into the Prime Services Division of which Brian was the Global Head. He is the Co-Author of Managed Futures for Institutional Investors and was the leader of the group’s research efforts as well as development of its signature events in Bordeaux, Tuscany and Napa.

Ryan Duncan, Managing Partner

Ryan Duncan is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Bridge Alternatives.

Ryan focuses on business development with an emphasis on fund / investment advisory and capital raising. He is the Chairman of the Bridge Alternatives Commodity Hedge Fund Index Committee and is responsible for speaker selection and content development for the time Summit.

Prior to founding Bridge, Ryan was a Senior Director and Global Co-Head of the Advisory Group within Societe Generale’s Prime Services division.

Keith Johnson, Managing Partner

Keith Johnson is a Managing Partner of Bridge Alternatives.

Keith spends a majority of his time on business development and capital raising with a particular focus on US, European and Australian markets. He also serves as Director of the time Summit, building upon a 15+ year legacy of successful events held in Tuscany, Bordeaux and Napa.

Keith was Global Head of Capital Introductions and Head of Sales in the America’s within Societe Generale’s Prime Services division.

Keith holds a Series 3 license.

Chris Kennedy, Partner

Chris is a partner at Bridge Alternatives.

In addition to research and supporting various technical aspects of the business, Chris focuses on business development and capital raising In the North American region.

Prior to joining Bridge, Chris was a Director within the Advisory Group of Societe Generale’s Prime Services division.  He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and graduate of Geoff Hinton’s Neural Networks for Machine Learning Coursera course.

Molly Dziedzic

Molly is a marketing and sales professional on the Bridge Alternatives team. With over fifteen years of experience in the financial sector she brings experience in marketing, event planning, and project execution.

She spent ten years at Societe Generale as a member of the Captial Introductions team where she executed a decade of global events. Prior to that, she was a National Sales Associate for Managers Investment Group.

Isabelle Lixi, European Markets Consultant

Isabelle Lixi is a consultant for Bridge Alternatives.

Isabelle spends a majority of her time on business development and capital raising with a particular focus on the European and Swiss markets. She is a member of the Bridge Alternatives Commodity Hedge Fund Index Committee.

She was a Senior Member of the Capital Introductions team within Societe Generale’s Prime Services division.

Isabelle previously worked in Merger and Acquisitions and investment solutions at UBS in London before joining a quantitative hedge fund in the US.

Galen Burghardt, Consultant

Dr. Galen Burghardt is a consultant for Bridge Alternatives, overseeing research and advising content direction for the time Summit.

Galen is an influential thought leader in the futures markets. He is the author of two books (The Treasury Bond Basis and The Eurodollar Futures and Options Handbook) and co-author of Managed Futures for Institutional Investors. His research has appeared in The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Derivatives, Risk Magazine, The Journal of Trading, The Journal of Alternative Investments, Derivatives Quarterly, FI Magazine, and The Journal of Futures Markets.

Previously, Galen was the Director of Research within Societe Generale’s Prime Services division. He has held positions at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Galen holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington.
