Bridge Alternatives adds Ian Ram as Partner

Bridge Alternatives, a financial services firm specializing in investment advisory and derivatives brokerage, announced today that Ian Ram has joined the firm as a Partner. Ian will bring his knowledge and experience from senior roles in both the investment management and investment banking space to the Bridge Alternatives platform as they look to enhance their offering.

Prior to joining Bridge, Ian was Chief Operating Officer for Rotella Capital Management from June 2016 to June 2018. Before that Ian worked for Societe Generale as Co-Head of Cross-Asset Sales within the Prime Services division. Prior to that he was a Senior Director at Societe Generale’s legacy firms Newedge, Calyon Financial, Carr Futures, and Dean Witter. Ian’s experience includes managing a desk that served the execution and clearing needs of clients in the exchange-traded derivatives space, overseeing the structuring of investment vehicles including UCITS and private funds, evaluating venture investment terms, and enhancing operational efficiency in both buy-side and sell-side firms. Ian received his BA in Economics from Loyola University Chicago and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
